Statscan released provincial economic accounts for 2006 and Saskatchewan comes in dead last.
Alberta leads the way with 6.8 per cent economic growth.
The PEI economy grew five times faster than Saskatchewan's in 2006.
Ugh.

Not surprising for a province who has been governed by the NDP and refuses to develop their natural resources. The best thing for Saskatchewan, the place where I was born and raised, would be a Sask Party government. If only people can just get over the possibility of SaskTel being privatized. They did it to Oil and Gas, and look at how Nexen helped make Saskatchewan a "have" province last fiscal year.
