Harper's makeup artist

Honestly, I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not. I sure would like to know how much that gig pays, though, and it shouldn't be this difficult to find out.

OTTAWA (CP) -- It turns out that taxpayers are picking up the tab for Prime Minister Stephen Harper's personal primper.

After two days of ducking media and opposition questions, the Conservatives finally revealed Wednesday that Michelle Muntean is on Harper's government staff.

But the revelation raises two more big questions: How much is she being paid? And why is there no government record of her employment.

I don't have a problem with this, provided there are no payment shenanigans. We vote a PM in to run and represent the country and he needs to look good doing it. I am not sure if you saw one of the pictures of Elizabeth May and Dion's recent press conference but May looked like a slob. Her jacket was poor fitting and wrinkled. Now I wouldn't base my vote on this, but I would certainly expect her to a better job of presenting herself if she was to represent me. Thats a job I have to outsource(my wife), so I wouldn't have a problem if May or Harper had to do so.
