Faced with a growing tax revolt in rural Saskatchewan, the ruling NDP party has indicated they may provided property tax relief. The relief may be worth close to $50 million.
The change of heart by the Calvert governemnt, may have a lot to do with Santa's (aka David MacLean's) stunt late December 05. To read more, check out the CTF's website at: www.taxpayer.com.

Tax relief, global warming, bring 'em on.
Global warming is the opium of the people.
Some opt for a tax revolt: many others find SK taxes so revolting they either leave, or avoid the place altogether.
Is it true that tax cuts cure cancer ?
In a sense yes. Cutting taxes leaves more money in the pockets of ordinary Canadians to donate to charities of their choice. I believe cancer research might be a beneficiary of lower taxes.
