Saskatchewan's talk radio station has an online poll on tax policy. The question is whether you prefer an income tax cut or a GST cut. Right now it's 50.2 for GST and 49.8 for income tax cuts. Go and vote if you are so inclined.
We're curious how people feel about the issue. The great news is that we are actually debating tax cuts in this campaign. Music to our ears.

David, the issue aside, aren't you concerned about supporting arguments with statistics from online polls? My Statistics professors say that the validity of those kinds of results are questionable, since the sample is not randomly chosen, and only people with access to the internet can vote in the poll (Economics 224 is a beautiful class!)
Your thoughts?
I hold no stock in online polls. But they are a fun expression of interest. I would never use statistics from an online poll for any legitimate purpose. A web poll, afterall, is how Tommy Douglas was chosen "greatest Canadian."
A good Canadian, to be sure, but "greatest Canadian"? Definitely not.
