BC MLAs do an about-face

CTF news release:

VICTORIA: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) responded today with relief to the government’s decision to repeal the legislation that would have massively increased MLAs’ salaries, office budgets and re-introduced a costly gold plated pension scheme. “The government has hardly earned our thanks but today’s reversal certainly demonstrates the power that taxpayers can have when they galvanize their opposition to an issue, politicians have to listen and respond,” noted Sara MacIntyre, BC director for the CTF.

MEMORANDUM

TO: BCTF

RE: Sara MacIntyre
-------------
As matters stand, you are under litigation by the one, the only Sara MacIntyre and her Marines. She just got the BC Legislature to stop their pay hike. You see, Sara MacIntyre has this poster out called, "Think Like A Taxpayer".

Now, when you tried to extort the people of British Columbia through your illegal strike - in part, the presence of Sara MacIntyre and her Marines over your headquarters BCTF helped you realize you were better served at the office. Besides, your illegal strike BCTF needed to be stopped for the children.

Now, you're being sued - yes, sued - for the costs of your warmongering (oops! - illegal strike) on the children that people can go HERE and join the class action against your illegal strike.

Free advice: Settle out of court and "Think Like A Taxpayer". Otherwise, watch the skies Jinny Sims... and steer clear of THESE CF-18 Hornets w/ the Canadian Taxpayer Federation roundel.
