New on taxpayer.com: Kyoto's steady march

Two Ontario university academics have offered their prescription on how to ensure Canada meet its Kyoto obligations. It is, they write, to "inflict pain" on businesses and individual Canadians.

I wonder if those two profs who want us all to suffer live in large and very expensive annex homes, thus saving themselves any commute?

It seems to me those calling for higher gas taxes, more public transit, etc. are those who can afford to live in the most expensive downtown locations so they never have to use the public transit they advocate.

Those who don't have the $700,000+ for an Annex starter home are SOL.
